Free Book Delivery during the Covid-19 Pandemic

While other libraries in our area are now offering curbside pickup due to Covid-19, Hawkes is going a step further and offering free delivery within a 3 mile radius of the library. Beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Andy and Michael Andrews will begin making deliveries. Two books can be checked out at a time, and orders can be placed either by calling Hawkes Library at 706-645-1549 (leave a message with your name, phone number, address, and the 2 books you want to check out.) Your books will be delivered to you the following Tuesday. You can also send an email order instead to FriendsofHawkes@gmail.com.
